"After the Joy" is my first attempt at making a short film and is tackling the issue of postpartum depression.Postpartum depression is a complex mental health complication that adversely impacts marriages every year. While many symptoms of postpartum depression subside over time and are resolved with much of an impact on a marriage, there are some couples who experience this form pregnancy-related depression without resolution and often ending up filing for divorce as a result of it.
