The driver who caused a multiple-vehicle crash, killing a Johns Hopkins doctor, fled from the scene and was later arrested, Baltimore County police said. A judge deemed Jason William Hines too dangerous to let out on bail. There was no comment from his family after the court hearing. The defense said Hines' license is in order and he has no criminal record. The state brought up that Hines has a driving record.
