Slapshot Santa - this is the very first performance of this K-5 Christmas musical, in Macklin, Saskatchewan in 1989. If your town likes hockey, they'll enjoy this musical show. Santa falls asleep watching Hockey Night in Canada, and dreams he's scored a goal in the NHL. Santa halts production of the toys while he practices his hockey skills. The elves don't know what to do to get production back on schedule. They fly the great Wayne Greatskate to the north pole for an exhibiltion game. After Santa plays in a real game, he's battered and blue, and decides to finish the toys for Christmas.
