Ok phew. why does this song mean so much to me? Technically, the first song means the most but I haven't ever fandubbed or done this one separately. Plus, it's just so powerful. Wow, this could be long. anyway, deep breath.Jodi benson inspired me to sing. I grew up listening to this song and wanting to be like her and sound like her and constantly pretended to be Ariel. I'd swim in tubs to try to be a mermaid and sing and try to get better at it. But I just wasn't confident in my voice later years. But, then so much later after high school and during college, Ariel gave me a voice again. I decided to do part of your world for a talent show at a music conference. For the whole week after, every kid who had seen it came up to me (just about anyway)and called me Ariel. She gave my confidence to try this youtube thing and post videos. And here I am, a year later, doing contests, back on stage again and continuing what I love doing. And all partially thanks to Jodie Benson.
