Cows, just like us, have individual personalities, feel fear, are curious, have relationships with each other and the world, love life and do not want to die. We know that non-human animals are sentient, yet we choose to ignore it because it suits us to. To participate in their murder -- which is what we do when we eat, wear, and use animals as resources -- is no more a "personal choice" than it is a "personal choice" to participate in the torture and murder of children. Unless we think that justice and nonviolence are extreme, veganism is not "extreme". Go vegan. It's easier than you think.
