Imdugud spawns in the Withering Shores zone in the Nam-Yensa Sandsea after the player waits 10 seconds in the portion of the zone accessible only through the Zertinan Caverns. The player must position his/her party on the circular platform overlook, standing just north of three oil drums in the center. Imdugud will appear near the shore on opposite side of the zone and fly over towards the platform. Exact positioning next to the oil drums is key to spawning this enemy.
