On 7 February 2014, a pair of C-130J Hercules conducted a formation flight with members of the media over RAAF Base Williams - Point Cook, Melbourne CBD, St Kilda, and Williamstown, ahead of the Centenary of Military Aviation Air Show. Different variants of the Hercules have provided air mobility to the Royal Australian Air Force since delivery of the C-130A in December 1958, leading the Hercules to become an iconic part of military aviation in Australia. The Centenary of Military Aviation Air Show will be held at RAAF Base Williams - Point Cook on 1-2 March 2014.
