A: A Pardon is an official recognition of your efforts to leave your past behind and live a law abiding lifestyle. As such, the records that are suspended can only be disclosed with the permission from the Minister of Public Safety. In practice, it doesn't mean your record is deleted, but it is kept separate so you cannot be discriminated against on the grounds of your past offenses.
