Eric Rajah at TEDxRedDeer, Alberta, Canada, October 20, 2011

Hear the story about one person's connections with over 1800 friends and volunteers in 15 countries and with 16 Alberta schools and universities—building physiotherapy centers and schools in Kenya and Afghanistan, drilling water wells in Sudan, and training and mentoring young people to connect and become leaders.

Film directed by Nick Saik.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*
