In Pres. Trump's Christmas message to U.S. armed forces, he salutes the work of the troops and their commander in chief. He makes no mention of 42K members of the Coast Guard are not getting paid during the border wall shutdown as Trump speaks to a Coast Guard commander. The president returns to the border wall every time a thought reminds him of it. For instance, a Coast Guard ship is made of steel, and so is the wall he wants to build... thus begins a monologue about the wall. Trump jokes about the pronunciation of Qatar but no mention of Saudi Arabia's blockade of Qatar with US. quasi-diplomatic (Jared Kushner) support.
