This is a review for Ben aka Exoddus1, who had also recently sent me this film, which was a welcome surprise.

Body Double is a 1984 American thriller film directed by Brian De Palma starring Craig Wasson, Melanie Griffith, and Gregg Henry. The film is an homage to Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo, Rear Window, and Dial M for Murder.

The original musical score was composed by Pino Donaggio. The film was marketed with the tagline "You can't believe everything you see".

A young actor's obsession with spying on a beautiful woman who lives nearby leads to a baffling series of events with drastic consequences.
