One of Bob Dylan's earlier works and one of his best known ones, I particularly remember this one as a friend of mine at college used to do an impersonation of Dylan singing it. His name was John Longbottom and although he did not survive long at college, he was great fun while he was there. He sang this at a college entertainments concert in front of most of the college and had them in fits of laughter with his exaggerated nasal singing and his extreme emphasis on the 'd' sound at the end of words such as banneD winD dieD etc. The song itself of course is not a comedic one, but rather like most of Dylan's early works has a profound message for everyone in the world
