- Whoever gives Iftar to a Mu'min who is fasting, his reward with Allah is the releasing of his neck from the fire of hell and his sins will be forgiven. - Sponsoring Iftar for Mu'mineen is an opportunity for bonding and brotherhood which should be cherished. - However, every good thing comes with its own adversities. - We are facilitating this Iftaar for the guests of Allah at the Masjid and for the guests of Imam Hussain at the Imam Bargah. - The quality and quantity of the food does not matter, it is your intention that matters. - Race, culture and language should not matter in a community. Imam Ali asked the Prophet, "What is the best of deeds that I can do in this month?" The Prophet replied and said, "The best of deeds in this month is to refrain from what Allah has forbidden for us." The Prophet broke into tears and informed Imam Ali of how he will be killed in the month of Ramadhan. "Building a center is very easy. Building a community is difficult." "The quality and quantity of the food does not matter, it is your intention that matters."
