Sanxion7 - Proud as viewed in FL Studio. I had previously described this as an antagonistic push back at furry ostracization but that wasn't actually the case - it was a lot more personal than that. I was not out at the time I wrote this, but it was written as a way to encourage myself to be proud of my own qualities. . Vanguard played a vital role in synth work for this track- I absolutely love crafting custom patches in that synth. Its filters are beautiful. Some Nexus use (a lot of that in the last 2 albums, gotta make it work for my money) and no shortage of 3xOsc, TS404 and Wasp use either. Lots of chopped sounds from Vengeance as well. This is a very busy track. Waves plugins were used on the master track. The vocal technique used in this project is: record 1 stem, pitch-align it and call it the center, then record 4 other stems, panning them alternatively left and right. So you got 2 left, 2 right, 1 center. Cut out the low frequencies on the side channels and cut out the high frequencies on the center channel. This works out incredibly well, and will be a technique I use for many projects to come.
