A research driven scientist, he came up with experiments in micro-scale emulsions in the 11th grade, and he was able to file two patent applications by the time he graduated from high school. One application was the usage of atomizable neem oil as an insect repellent, and the second one was the detergent solution for the neem seed oil. By the time he graduated, he had taken more courses in advanced mathematics and science than anyone else in his high school history, complete with four independent college-level courses. He has chosen to further his studies at KAIST, leaving behind 2 full scholarship offers and 12 other acceptances from US universities. Even these days, his life is filled with passions that drive him to learn more about science and apply it in such a way that may benefit the lives of other people. His achievements did not come easy; we would like to hear more about how and why he pursued his dream.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
