Now that our wintering female Rufous Hummingbird is still hanging around, I wanted to get a better view of how these little creatures manage to fly so fast and gracefully. This video compares several shooting speeds from normal to very slow motion. There is even a little surprise action of the hummer at the end of the video! The only camera I own that will shoot slow motion is my little Nikon Coolpix S8200. I wish the quality and resolution were a bit better but we will remedy that one of these days.
