In this blog episode, I shall be showing you Hampstead Heath, one of London's most popular park areas during our current heatwave. Yes we have formal gardens with beautifully planted rose bushes and shrubs - this is not one of them, Hampstead Heath as the name suggests, is just a nature reserve, a woodland area with a mix of fields, ponds and forested areas. One can go swimming in the ponds - there is a men's pond, women's pond and a mixed pond but the water is usually quite cold so I would really only recommend doing it in the summer when the water temperature rises above 20 degrees. I will also be taking you to the top of Parliament Hill, at 98 metres high, it is the highest point in London and offers good views from the top. If you do visit London and have the time, why not come and check the heath out?

This was filmed on a windy day, so I had a lot of problems with the sound I'm afraid - sorry! My phone is usually very good when it comes to picking up sounds on my videos, but the moment there is a strong gust of wind, it totally goes nuts and the audio is then rendered unusable.
