The perennial wildflowers that bloom without fail every spring make the backyard feel like it’s own little secret garden. The multi-tiered landscape created a never ending adventure for the current owner’s son through the changing seasons and it holds dear memories of mini-hikes to see the Boston skyline and Spy Pond from various vantage points. 

Being close to route 2, this house provided the perfect combination of proximity to the city and great schools and community. As the house was on higher ground than most of our neighbors and it had such a large set back from the main road, we never felt like we were living on a bigger street as we never heard any of the street noise, even at night time. The driveway, which is large enough to fit six cars, was great for entertaining, and also made pulling in and out of the street a breeze.”

“We fell in love with the stone floor that greets visitors in the foyer, the grand fireplace and wooden beams that grace the living room, and the axe cut wooden doors throughout the main floor, which were some of the many historic characteristics in this house that have been beautifully maintained throughout the past century. 

This unique home is only a few minutes drive to the shopping, services, and delightful restaurants of Arlington Center, Arlington High School, the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway, as well as just seconds to Route 2 for a quick ride into Boston.
