This was an amazing three days for me. Having spent two days waiting for the IKEA store to open on December 13 was something I never thought I would do. I got to meet some amazing people before the Grand Opening. The staff of the Grand Prairie IKEA were all so friendly and courteous. I was in line to get the couch along with 46 others. We spent two nights in the cold but it was so worth it. To be qualified for the $379 couch, you had to be the top 47 people in line. You couldn’t leave or go get food. Luckily we didn’t need either one of those things. They feed us, kept us warm, and gave us really nice bathrooms to use when we needed it. I hope this video makes you want to get out and attend a Grand Opening in your area.
