Harmon Yard Crew part 8: shave and a haircut by a classic

I am standing on the road bridge that goes from 9A to Croton Point Park, and crosses Harmon Yard just south of the shops and just north of the platforms. Here, we see the Harmon Yard crew pushing two of the three oldest diesel engines in active service anywhere in the U.S, all owned by Metro North, F10's 413 (oldest engine, built in 1946 as an F3 for the GM&O as their 880A), and 411 (built only 6 months later, also as an F3).  If you notice, in the first half-second of video, you can hear horn echo.  That is because one of the Harmon Yard Crew members was sitting in the 413 in order to spot it as it was moving down the track.  At the :12 second mark, he gives me a "shave and a hair cut, two bits" on the horn, and might I say, that it sounded beautiful.  The Harmon Yard engine today is GP35R 101.
