This video details our adventures around the town of Peebles. In this video, we take a look at the Neidpath Tunnel, the Neidpath Viaduct, the Eshiels Tunnel and the Bilston Glen Viaduct. All great pieces of abandoned railway infrastructure. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the sound quality in a few scenes (mostly where there's a lot of background noise) so apologies for that. We also had record a voice-over for the tunnel explore scene as the camera didn't capture our original audio for some reason. Upon reflection, this actually makes for an easier to understand and hopefully more informative section. Annoyingly, one of our favourite throw-away scenes didn't work but due to it's nature, we'll just re-record it and merge it into a later project. Technical issues aside, it was a great day out, although time was restricted due to an approaching storm, which partially caught us out at Bilston. If we'd had more time before the weather hit, we'd have also visited the Auchendinny tunnels and spent some more time at Bilston. If you want to find out more information about the structures visited in this video, check out these links from the always informative Forgotten Relics: http://www.forgottenrelics.co.uk/tunnels/gallery/neidpath.html http://www.forgottenrelics.co.uk/bridges/gallery/neidpath.html http://www.forgottenrelics.co.uk/tunnels/gallery/eshiels.html http://www.forgottenrelics.co.uk/bridges/gallery/bilstonglen.html The music in this video (bar the opening scene) comes from the Kirkcaldy post-rock band, Our Smallest Adventures. They are kind enough to have both their first studio recorded EP available for free download on their bandcamp and their live EP available for free download through soundcloud. They're well worth checking out if they come to a venue near you. http://oursmallestadventures.bandcamp.com/album/our-smallest-adventures-ep https://soundcloud.com/oursmallestadventures/sets/adam-smith-ep
