A music video featuring the first two songs from my upcoming album, "Criteria For Being" (which will hopefully be released late August 2018 at www.scotterickson.bandcamp.com). Songs include: 0:00 The Punishment of Happiness 3:02 The Maharajah I took this footage in Sydney, Australia while visiting last month. It was a lucky coincidence that I decided to record for the exact same amount of time as the first two songs of my album combined. The songs were recorded on a reel-to-reel tape machine at Steamboat Island Recording in Olympia, WA. I played baritone ukulele, harmonica, and sang. Both songs were written by me.
