Vasti Knoesen was born in Cape Town. In 2012 she graduated with her Bmus Opera degree at the University of Cape Town, also receiving the Class medal. At the end of 2014 she received her Post Graduate Diploma in Performance. She is currently working on her solo career by still performing classical music, but also focussing on her own alternative new sound in her show, The 27 Club.
