Back Home from my Sunday Walk - It was Sunday so the kids were not in school. They followed me back home like I was the Pied Piper of Hamelin. By the way I saw the actual re-enactment in Hamelin, Germany. Every Sunday in Hamelin, they did a skit for tourists acting out the fairy tale ' The Pied Piper of Hamelin. ' It was an enjoyable skit where the children dressed like rats in the first half and follow the Piper out of town then later, with costumes of the middle ages, followed him out again. If you don't know or remember the fairy tale, here is a link to an online viewable book illustrated by Kate Greenaway. It has some very beautiful old graphics. If you are REALLY curious here is a very good Wiki Article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pied_Piper_of_Hamelin http://www.indiana.edu/~librcsd/etext/piper/index.html WOW, how did German fairy tales get into a video on life in the the Philippines?
