Soca Brass band "Brass 2 the World" launched their Monday Mas band, "Blow Mano Blow" on Thursday evening. Leader of Brass 2 the World, Burt Marcellin, said the band was formed to bring more live entertainment to the streets for Carnival. For their 2019 offering, 2010 Calypso Monarch Kurt Allen and reigning 2018 Calypso Monarch Helon Francis will be added to their frontline cast. 2018 Calypso Monarch, Helon Francis, said it was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. Brass 2 the World member, Terrance Sealy, said the introduction of live musicians and vocalists would add to the Carnival experience.
