[email protected] Heavy Lake Effect Snow blanketed parts of Western New York Monday afternoon and evening with the highest amounts, measured at 20 inches in the Angola, NY area. Visibility was actually so bad while filming the event it seems as if the camera is having focusing issues/haze, but that is the visibility. Many cars ended up stuck, and even a semi-truck got stuck trying to leave a Rest Area stranding drivers until he was moved. Road conditions were treacherous and visibility was only 50 feet at times, if you weren't sitting on I-90 as a parking lot you were moving less than 15 miles an hour.
