ELimbination is a Multiplayer Battle Royal Arena Game

General game-play is centered around battles in which players fight to obtain parts that augment their character in various ways.

It is running on a game engine built from the ground up using the DirectX Framework.

The game has 3 Phases:

 - Warm up period :

Used to wait for players to join the game. The end goal is for this game to be networked allowing up to 4 players per computer. This period is to allow newly joining players to enter and participate in the game

The game is rendered in full 3D and the map is generated from a modifiable script which can be used to a;low various methods of map making later on.

 - Collection period:

This period is used to collect parts in order to make your character stronger. Spawn locations are active and upon death your player loses all of its currently equipped parts and drops a random equiped part onto the floor (which acts as spoils of war for the person that defeated you). During this period players can still join and participate, but after the collection period ends newly joined players will only be able to spectate until the next wait period in which they will spawn as a playable character themselves.

If you notice currently I am the only player, using a controller I will spawn a new character into the game from the same computer. Notice the screen automatically enters a split screen vertical mode (which can also be togled to horizontal, and becomes a 4 Split Screen with 3+ players connected)

 - Last man Standing

During this period spawn locations are off and upon death you lose and become a spectator of the remaining living players. The round ends when there is one player remaining after which the game goes back into its wait period.
