(High5 if you can watch the entire thing) Honestly, the game is terrible. It's not ready for it's March release, it'll need another 4-6 months of actually tuning rather then getting bugs fixed from player feedback. Speaking of bugs, Rift runs on the same game engine as Warhammer Age of Reckoning and the Rift beta has the same issues as WAR; no surprise. Quests are similar to WoW's questing back in vanilla, I actually had more fun questing in Cataclysm then I did in rift. The only reason to do quests is for Souls and the quests are the same kill different named mob every single time. The Souls and the way you can mix them is nice, it allows for a lot of diversity between players but really, there's going to be one or two optimal builds for PvE and PvP and the rest would just be flavor builds. You also can see in the video that the mobs have 360 vision so even if you're stealthed and coming from behind them they'll turn around and attack you unless you quickly plant Rift's version of Sap on them. A lot of the npcs in the game, even when idling are always saying something and most of the time it's just gibberish which gets REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING when you're trying to buy/sell items at the vendor and do talent tree. Rift is just another "Oh this game is so much better then WoW but we'll stop playing it within the month" game. They're too many issues, gameplay isn't as deep as they say it is. Simply put, it's just a reskined Version of WoW back in vanilla.
