During The Film Society of Lincoln Center's Summer Talks series, director Sebastian Silva and actor Michael Cera discuss the film's superfluous, Scooby Doo-weird crew, short shooting schedules, and the most disgusting snack in human history. Sponsored by HBO®. About the film: Michael Cera stars as an American tourist who encounters a wanderer (played by Gaby Hoffman) during a Chilean vacation. The two of them, along with a group of locals (played by Silva's real-life brothers) embark on a journey in search of an elusive hallucinogenic cactus that leads them to unexpected places.
