Her research centers on a few key questions: How did Cuba and the other Caribbean islands come into being? And what role have various continental plates played in the process? According to Rojas-Agramonte,research on the topic in Cuba is still in its initial stages. But in the future,the results of her work could play a crucial role in helping identify deposits of mineral resources.
