Iniciamos este episodio con el programa de becas IME del Instituto de Mexicanos en el Exterior. Administradas en Nueva York por el Instituto de Estudios Mexicanos de CUNY, las becas apoyan la creación de una nueva generación de líderes para la comunidad mexicana.

A continuación, Carmen Boullosa entrevista a Carlos Pereda, reconocido intelectual y profesor uruguayo-mexicano, quien insiste en que la filosofía es una herramienta que debe ser asequible a todos para el entendimiento de la conducta humana.

Mas adelante, en su estudio de grabación en La Habana, Cuba entrevistamos al músico y compositor Edesio Alejandro quien habla de sus comienzos en la música, de su incursión en el cine y de lo que busca en un sonido propio.

Para finalizar, entrevistamos al polifacético actor, músico y creador audiovisual argentino Carlos Ledesma para saber más sobre el proceso de realización de sus Web Series.

We begin this program with the CUNY-IME Becas scholarship program, a program administered in NY by the CUNY Institute for Mexican Studies. These scholarships support the creation of a new generation of leaders for the Mexican community.

To continue, Carmen Boullosa interviews Carlos Pereda, a renowned Mexican-Uruguayan intellectual and professor who insists that philosophy is a tool that must be available to all people for the understanding of human behavior.

Later, in his studio in Havana, Cuba, we'll interview musician and composer Edesio Alejandro, who will talk to us about his beginnings in music, his incursion into cinema and what he looks for in a personal style.

Finally, we will interview the multifaceted Argentine actor, musician and audiovisual creator Carlos Ledesma, to learn more about ho he creates his web series.
