The economic contract across Brazil is quite stark. While the south east area is full of prosperity, the north and north east are quite the opposite where nearly 9 million people live in extreme poverty.

For this reason, Compassion International has chosen to close some of our offices in southern Brazil so we can focus on efforts in the north.

Watch this video to hear stories of those who are on the ground and see how Compassion partners with the local church in Brazil to help release children from poverty in the name of Jesus.
