For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very clean, yellow and green 1940 Plymouth Pickup. This old truck is built on a 1991 Dodge Dakota chassis. It is powered by a Mopar 5.2L fuel injected V8 engine that fires right up and purrs right along. A 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission transfers the power to the rear end with 3.23 gears. The green and yellow color scheme is a tribute to the iconic John Deere tractor company, and does it with tremendous pride. The fenders and step rails are finished in gloss black and accent the overall theme very well. The truck bed is finished with wood slates, and is protected by a black vinyl bed cover that snaps into place. The cab of this 40’ Plymouth truck has been lengthened 8 inches for more leg room, which makes long drives much more comfortable. The stretched doors open "suicide" style which gathers attention each time you pop them open. The leather bucket seats are from a late model vehicle and provide great support as well. The interior dash is painted green with yellow pinstriping to match the exterior, and provide a custom look. The odometer reads 6,810, which represents the miles put on the truck since the build was complete. Options for this 1940 Plymouth Pickup include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Driver’s Seat, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This Plymouth truck is a great way to represent two companies with one purchase. You can show your Mopar and John Deere pride at your local show or cruise with this very well restored pickup.
