Hive Checks and Bee Trouble

I guess this is the price you pay for being a little late on your hive checks. I checked my two top bar hives and my flow hive after coming home from a trip to Idaho and found that my yellow top bar hive had split and is now queenless and without brood. I also found that my brown top bar hive was making preparations to split as it had more than five queen cells made. Luckily the brown hive was full of brood and the bees in the yellow hive were calm and accepting. I transferred a few bars of brood with queen cells over to the yellow hive and we will see how that goes. The good news is, the bees in my flow hive are doing great and making tons of honey.
