My dad, Dominic, and I went out to La Plata, MO on Labor Day weekend. FYI don't ever come on Labor Day weekend because traffic will get slow. Soon as we got into La Plata we checked in to the Depot Inn and put our bags in the room. My dad got his own room and Dominic and I shared a room. After that Dominic and I went out to the station to catch some trains. Since traiffic was slow as heck me, my dad, and Dominic walked to the Soy Bean Festival that was going on that weekend. We saw our buddy Bob and his wonderful wife at the Festival. Their daughter was out there somewhere hanging out with her friends, but anyways we were talking to Bob and his wife about trains and the festival. We walked around the festival to see what they had. The sun was setting and I wanted to get back to the tracks to railfan some more but before we left I got me a deep fried corndog with mustard and my dad got himself a funnel cake. I had an awesome day and night there. Here are the trains we caught.
