This is the new Peugeot 508 gt. For the first time in the modern era, the French went on a Fastback project to their new competitor, the Volkswagen Passat, with a low and compact 5-door silhouette to bring more taste to the range. The new car will be offered with six petrol and diesel engines / gearboxes with an output power of 128 hp. (probably an entry level diesel) to 222 hp. (high-directional 1.6-liter gasoline). About five percent of the outgoing 508 sales show the capacity of gasoline, but privately PSA sources admit that this mixture can increase to a quarter with a new generation due to Europe's current negative impact on diesel fuel. This 508 makes a leap from the relatively old PF3 PSA platform to its newest chassis-2 architecture - so by the end of 2019 508 will get a plug-in gasoline-electric hybrid output, with an output power to match the most powerful conventional transmission. The car's platform will allow Peugeot engineers to place batteries under the rear seats, so PHEV should not suffer from a drop in loading capacity. And the system will include a 50 hp electric motor. and have enough power to operate for about 30 miles on electricity.
