In the second part of his trattado de glosas, Ortiz presents 6 recercadas on the canto llano la Spagna. These ones are more lyrical than the later eight recercadas on bass themes. They are notated in the tenor clef, I mostly reed alto clef and bass or G-clef, so this demands more of my concentration to read...
