An announcement had just come over the speakers that the fire alarm was only a test of the system. So the redcapped mangabey went about his normal routine normally. In fact none of the animals in the Rare Animal Conservation Center seemed to notice or be bothered in any way by the sound of the alarm. I always think calm, fearless behavior of the animals in situations like this is an indication of the good care they receive at the Zoo.
