This small, cheap, single-cassette RCA boombox didn't seem like anything special when I picked it up at a Goodwill store, but its sound quality on AM radio is AMAZING! The treble is crisp and clear and overall it actually sounds better than FM. It is a RF-7717A model, probably from the early '90s.

Here it is tuned to the nighttime skywave signal of AM 740 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, about 350 miles away. The reception is great and the music sounds fantastic!
