St. James Catholic Church, located at 29th and Wabash, serves as place for Catholic students at the following educational institutions to become fully engaged in their Catholic Faith: • Illinois Institute of Technology • Illinois College of Optometry • Vander Cook College of Music • Shimer College The Eucharist is the "source and summit" of our lives as Catholics and so all Catholic students are encouraged to participate in the vibrant liturgies at St. James at either 9:30 or 11:30 a.m. every Sunday. Nourished at the Lord's Table, the students are sent forth to their various campuses to be a vital Christian presence. A wide variety of activities on and off the campus are organized through the efforts of student leaders and the campus ministry staff at St. James. http://stjamescampusministry.org/ Copyright 2011 St. James Campus Ministry.
