So I am often asked where I find my wood. The answer I learned from Matt Cremona? Anywhere I have an opportunity. Recently we had Hurricane Florence come through, which turned to a tropical storm as it hit my area. Well as I drove around my little town I saw a large white oak tree that had fallen over onto a car. Most of the tree was in the road way and that meant the city guys would be cutting it up. I took this opportunity to ask to get some of it. They were happy to give me some rather than transport it to the dump. This video show some of those pieces.
