The final trailer for DC Marvel: The Dark Apocalypse Strikes Back will be arriving soon. I have started working on it and I'm trying my best to get it out by either next Sunday or in two weeks and afterwards I'll put my focus into DC Marvel Unity and DC Marvel: The Injustice Paradox. The final trailer will feel more like a revolution than an end of the world because it really isn't the end of the world, Apocalypse's agenda is to make the world a better place by placing mutants as the dominant species, changing the way human's governed, and causing mass genocide of the human race. 

Note: In this (Fan) Trailer, Ben Affleck is meant to be President Valley while Christian Bale is Bruce Wayne/Batman and the stormtroopers are meant to be the terrorist organization known as God's Children NOT the first order stormtroopers.

Plot Details: The story pickups 7 years after the first one. After the heroes defeated Ultron, Brainiac, Doomsday, Ronan, and the Sentinels, the apocalyptic reign ended after 5 years. Society is being re-built but Western America is still mostly a desert. Eastern America has re-built most of their cities with the help of Wayne Enterprise, LexCorp, and Queen Industries. Captain America and Black Widow got married and decided to retire and live a quiet life. They also have a son and a daughter. Superman "died" during the final battle but a mutant scavenger by the name of En Sabah Nur, who hides underground, restored life into his corpse. During that process, Superman forgot all his memories and En Sabah Nur convinced him to join his band of followers, which already consisted of Archangel and Dr. Doom. SHIELD eventually finds out about this underground group named "God's Children" and their leader who has been alive for over 5,000 years because of his mutant x-gene. SHIELD tells this to the first president of the U.S. since the Dark Apocalypse, President Valley (Ben Affleck). Valley doesn't trust superheroes or anything that can be a threat to their world after The Dark Apocalypse, so he believes "God's Children" is a terrorist organization. Apocalypse's intentions is to have the mutant power rise since The Dark Apocalypse wiped 85% of the mutant population. Apocalypse believes a world run by mutants would make Earth better, more protected, and prevent events like The Dark Apocalypse from happening because to him humans and superheroes are weak compared to mutants. Apocalypse plans to wipe out the entire human population and to increase the mutant population so that Earth would only belong to them. Apocalypse, his four horsemen, and "God's Children" start attacking many cities and their citizens. This causes all of the heroes to return and fight back but President Valley believes if the heroes get involved, it's just going to be Dark Apocalypse II and he's the leader of one of the very few nations so he can't let his people and cities die under his watch. Valley forms his own Task Force to stop the heroes and defeat Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen. First, I just want to make this clear, this is not an end of the world type of (Fan) trailer series. There’s a complexity behind The Dark Apocalypse story in this series. The Dark Apocalypse is a tragic event that brought the whole world together due to death and destruction. In a way, I’m trying to make it similar to real life world tragic world events like 9/11 or the holocaust so that’s what The Dark Apocalypse is to the characters in this story, it’s a tragic event that they are preventing from another one to occur even the villains’ agenda is to make a better world so another event like that won’t happen to their race after 85% of their population have been wiped out. It’s NOT an end of the world type of story like War of the Worlds. because I know so many editors have those type of stories with their trailers and it’s kind of getting unoriginal so I made mine much different. Second, Apocalypse does not have the same origin in this as he does in X-Men: Apocalypse. In this, Apocalypse has been alive for thousands of years and evolving his powers but he’s been alive this whole time even during the events of the first Dark Apocalypse, he hasn’t been sleeping underground for thousands of years like the film. Lastly, the population in this world after the events of the first Dark Apocalypse is over 500,000. 500,000 are still a lot of people but compared to the original 6 billion, a large amount of lives have been lost. Also, this takes place in the year 2024; the first Dark Apocalypse trailer series took place in 2017, and the event of the Dark Apocalypse started in 2012.
