I wanted to learn CAD modeling using SolidWorks so I thought making something that isn't already readily available and would be useful to others would be a good place to start. I got the idea for making replacement gameboy light battery covers from Elliot over at The Retro Future when we were chatting one day and I mentioned that I was learning how to design parts to 3D print. There are a few problems with my model that I describe in this video that I'll need to fix, but once everything is sorted out I'll post links to the model. I've posted a link for Ebay purchase referrals. Full disclosure: I'm trying out something new, if you use the link below then I get a small kickback from your purchase (it will cost you nothing, I just get paid for referring customers). https://ebay.us/J8FqJg In other news I've become an ICStation affiliate so every time you guys use the following link with your purchases I can earn a commission that I will use towards future videos, enjoy!
