The Middle Level. Briggate Bend Whittlesey Downstream on a 11’ by 65’ Wide-beam with dingy in tow. Slow and steady no bumps! This is the journey down that really really narrow section of river in real time, you can see how narrow and tricky it was, the bottom bit with the concrete sides I only had two inches on either side, then a complete right angle turn at the end, with no bow thrusters I had to use reverse to pull the front of the boat round the sharp bend. I am heading back to the Fish & Duck Marina near Ely. The middle level between Denver and the Nene.
