Back after a one year break, the 2018 Stanford Cross Country Invitational was held on September 29, 2018 at the stunning Stanford Golf Course. This is the Division 1 Girls race. The course route was revised from 2016 but remains 5K in length.

Commentary: D-1 Clovis North reloads with frosh Miliana Perez who puts down a 5k time faster than their #1 graduating senior from last year. Perez just keep lengthening her lead the whole race. Winning team Granada Hills (D-1) was led by another frosh, Sofia Abrego, who is in her 5th year of competitive distance running. This is the second time that we've seen Abrego this year. She won the Rated race at Woodbridge. Strong finish in this one. Tight finish for third.
