This is Mike Fremont (http://mikefremont.org/). The last time I came across Mike was a cold, drizzly January day and he was running in shorts. I didnt' know who he was at that time but I took a picture because here was this 90 year old man out jogging in January! Posted his picture on Facebook and someone recognized him and gave me the link to his website. This guy is an inspiration. He has 2 world records for his age group in the marathon. In January he told me he had plans to go to Florida to do a marathon there to get another WR but apparently that didn't happen. He just told me that he got down there and it was going to be too warm and that he ended up in the hospital because of something that was blocking something in his stomach. Apparently scar tissue from a surgery he had 18 years ago. He did tell me his next goal is the marathon in West Virginia. I hope to see him again. I wanna be like him when I grow up.
