Alzheimer's Discovery May Help Slow Progression

As many as four million Americans are living with Alzheimers disease, a number thats expected to quadruple in 40 years. Scientists say this affliction destroys brain cells, hobbling memory, thinking and behavior. UC Davis neuroscientist Charles DeCarli, says researchers have been able to identify which enzymes lead to the creation of an abnormal protein.
