Fossil Roo contains a number of RNG dependent situations that might require a few restarts. 

I need to start recording my practice attempts as I got 7,777 on my first try against the boss but could not get it again when recording for the life of me. Finally did get it of course, but what a frustrating time that was!

You should aim to finish this session within five random enemy encounters. Six is the absolute max. Obviously the newer releases include the Safe Travel mode but you will still need to learn the Blu Magic ability 'Night'.

The Excalibur II is a coveted weapon in FFIX that can only be looted before the in-game clock ticks 12:00 hours. Since it is located towards the end of the game on disk four, this can be a challenge to say the least! It is required for the Platinum Trophy. In this series we will not only be working towards this sword, but we will be doing everything else as well :) Sounds impossible? Let's find out!
