I was called out last night   9 pm  for an Explorer stuck in the Dunes south of Ocean Park . I picked up  three young men  . The first one to get in my truck was falling down drunk .  I drove  2 miles down the road   and was getting ready to hit the beach when  I told the drunk young man he would not be able to drive the  Suv . He said the  other boys were sober . I asked them how they were going to pay for the tow . All three said they had no money and I would have to charge the tow to them . I told them they had two choices  I would tow the truck to my shop and when  payment was recieved  they could take the Exploer or choice # 2 get out of my truck   and find someone else to tow them . I was  a little mad that they had not informed me of there finances  when they called .  15 minutes after I got back to my shop  our local Fire Department got a call Vehicle versus pedistrian .  2 miles south of Ocean Park . You  guessed it . The drunk guy was throwing  stuff out into the street and trying to stop passing cars .  A 70 year old lady went past them and the drunk slapped her passenger mirror . It snapped the mirror off and sent him flying to the pavement with lacerations to his hand and face .   I would add the drunk young man had come to the beach to go to court the next day for a DUI he had recieved last week .   The unhappy ending is  the lady has a $250 deductible that she will have to come up with .
