In Chapter 13 of 13 in his 2015 Capture Your Flag interview, Capture Your Flag founder Erik Michielsen is interviewed by author Danny Gutknecht about what Capture Your Flag's identify would be and how the identify ties to recruiting a community to build a movement around a cause. Michielsen notes how the Richard Linklater film "Boyhood" embodies what Capture Your Flag is trying to accomplish as a learning resource. At its simplest, both are about lines, which represent journeys. Within those lines are segments, which represent points in time on that developmental journey.
